This notice explains how Öncümak Makina Plastik Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Öncümak", "we", "us") processes the personal data you send us through the contact form on this website, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

  • Contact data: your email address.
  • Enquiry data: company name, country, subject and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: IP address and access logs, processed automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security purposes.

Please do not include sensitive data (such as health, religious or ethnic information) in your message.

  • To prepare quotations and provide the product information you request,
  • To handle technical support and after-sales service requests,
  • To evaluate partnership requests,
  • To keep the website secure and prevent misuse,
  • To comply with our legal obligations and respond to requests from competent authorities.

We do not use your data for marketing or advertising, and we will not send you promotional emails.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

Öncümak is based in Türkiye, and your data is processed in Türkiye. Where required by law, we may disclose your data to competent public authorities.

To operate this website, your data is processed — only for the purposes above — by the following service providers located outside Türkiye:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): website hosting and security.
  • Sendinblue SAS — Brevo (France): delivering your contact form message to our company inbox.
  • Google (Google Workspace): our company email service, where your message and our correspondence with you are stored.

These transfers are carried out with the safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep correspondence about your enquiry for 2 (two) years after it has been resolved. If your enquiry leads to a business relationship, the retention periods required by law (e.g. the Turkish Commercial Code) apply. After that, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Find out whether we process your personal data and request access to it,
  • Learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used accordingly,
  • Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom your data is transferred,
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • Request erasure or destruction of your data,
  • Request that third parties who received your data be notified of any correction or erasure,
  • Request restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability (GDPR),
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to any outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis,
  • Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. How to Exercise Your Rights

Send your request to info@oncumakina.com, or in writing to Ikitelli OSB, Tormak San. Sit., V-Blok, No:6, Basaksehir, Istanbul, Turkiye, together with information that allows us to verify your identity. We will respond free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Board) or, if you are in the European Economic Area, with the data protection supervisory authority of your country of residence.

9. Cookies and Map

This website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work (e.g. a cookie that remembers your language). We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

The Google Map on the contact page is only loaded if you click "Show map". Your browser then connects directly to Google, which receives data such as your IP address and may set its own cookies. Google's privacy policy applies to that processing.
